Get the Facts, Get the Vax

Substantial evidence exists showing that communities of color have experienced significantly higher rates of infection and mortality due to COVID19 when compared to white Americans. Due to longstanding structural and racial inequities that disenfranchised communities of color, supporting them through the pandemic requires a multifaceted approach. WCAC is proud to be a partner in this effort and encourages everyone to get vaccinated to protect themselves, their families and our community!

    • The City of Worcester is working closely with faith-based organizations, advocacy groups, community liaisons, Worcester Together, the City of Worcester’s Equity Task Force and the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts to address hesitancy and equitable vaccine distribution.
