WCAC Youth & Family Programs

Families can access a variety of services through programs designed to link parents to community resources, to advocate for parent needs and address gaps in services, to quickly process applications for Food Stamps, and to help resolve family conflicts in a cooperative atmosphere through the mediation process.  In Southern Worcester County, first-time parents age 20 and under may receive home visits and attend parent groups from pregnancy through their child’s third birthday.  In addition, affordable high quality early education and care scholarships are offered to families with preschool aged children.

Each summer, Worcester’s youth are offered summer job opportunities throughout the City.  Eligible youth must meet low-income family guidelines.
