Energy/Weatherization

  • Seeking Intake Associate for the Heating Assistance Program–LIHEAP. Intake associates will provide excellent customer service to income-eligible household members who are applying for Fuel and Heating Assistance throughout the year.  The successful candidate will have a High School degree or equivalent, excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a willingness to assist clients from all backgrounds.  Data entry, computer skills and customer service experience are required.  Bilingual individuals are strongly encouraged to apply. Head Start

  • Seeking Lead Teacher, Head Start, School Year (37.5 hrs/wk) WCAC is seeking a school year, Lead Teacher in our Southbridge Head Start center. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate program that contributes to children’s overall growth, self-esteem, social competence, development and safety.   • Seeking Assistant Teacher, Head Start, School Year (37.5 hrs/wk) WCAC is seeking a school year, Assistant Teacher in our Southbridge Head Start center to collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan, organize and carry out classroom activities that contribute to children’s overall growth, self-esteem, social competence, development and safety.   • Seeking Early Head Start, Family Educator, Full Time (37.5 hrs/wk) Seeking a qualified professional for a full time position in our Southbridge location to maintain and strengthen families through the Early Head Start (EHS) program. Our program operates as a home-based model serving families from pregnancy through age three. The focus is to involve the parent or the primary care giver in the education of their child. Weekly home visits provide the opportunity for parenting support, education as well as community referrals. EHS Family Educator 7-31-19

 

  • Seeking Nutrition Consultant, Head Start, Part Time, 10 hrs per month Seeking a qualified professional for a part time (10 hours per month) position in our Southbridge location to oversee the nutritional component of the Head Start program which serves over 200 preschool aged children and their families.   • Seeking Family Case Manager, Head Start, School Year, Full Time (37.5 Hours) Seeking a qualified professional to collaborate with parents of Head Start children and the education staff to promote the well-being of the child, self-sufficiency, and engagement opportunities.   • Seeking Head Start, Family Engagement Coordinator, Full Time (37.5 Hours). WCAC is seeking a full time Family Engagement Coordinator to support families enrolled in the Head Start and Early Head Start programs to promote self-sufficiency and engagement opportunities through education and advocacy.Family Engagement Coordinator 6-13-19

Healthy Families of Southern Worcester County

  • Seeking Healthy Families, Family Support Advocate, Full Time (37.5 Hours)  WCAC is seeking a full time Family Support Advocate to work in our Healthy Families program. Healthy Families partners with first-time moms and dads to provide coaching and support from pregnancy through the child’s third birthday. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing program participants with home visits and resources to help them achieve optimal health, development, family stability, and function in their communities in accordance with a participant generated family goal plan.
